Best event attend?
For many reasons, the Business Tourism Scotland Conference in 2016 was special to me. I enjoyed working with Stark Events, the Technology & Innovation Centre team at Strathclyde University and the volunteer committee to welcome 300 delegates from across Scotland to Glasgow.
Previous feedback flagged that delegates wanted more choice in the sessions on offer, so as a committee we were keen to deliver something new.
In response to this, we offered a variety of short educational sessions throughout the day.
The delegates took to the new format really well, with all the meeting rooms buzzing with conversation.
