Best Event attended?
I’ve been fortunate enough to attend a number of events, both here and overseas. So choosing just one is difficult. Those where I have met new and interesting people – who are now part of my life as business colleagues or friends – stand out most. A great example of this is The Annual Review Meetings, which I attend because Edinburgh is part of the BestCities Global Alliance. My colleagues in the ten different cities are great mentors and friends. The knowledge we share makes us stronger as cities and individuals.
Conferences where I’ve left feeling inspired also stand out. There’s no better feeling than coming out of a session totally fired up, full of ideas you’re desperate to try in the office. The challenge is making them work!
